In general what we find is that small business users have been oversold expensive server software in the past, leaving them with highly complex, high maintenance Client/Server networks, but where only a small proportion of the server’s capabilities are being utilised.
If you need to run a Client Server Network, we strongly recommend Windows Server 2019 if you want to interface with Cloud Based software and storage AND you have a very good broadband service. If most of what you do is in-house, or if you don’t have a great broadband service, we would say stick with Windows Server 2016. We’ll be happy to advise you on what’s best suited to your business and your businesses practices.
